Coffee? Yes, please! But, for my skin...

Coffee is a number one beverage for all the caffeine lovers. But, so far, we did not know that apart from giving us a morning boost, our favorite kitchen ingredient can do wonders for our skin too! All these years we’ve been consuming coffee without even realizing that putting it on our face could “wake-up” our skin as well as it does to us every single morning. We should immediately start to use it in our regular routines because of its beauty benefits. Its antioxidants can keep our skin nourished and healthy while enhancing the collagen production. And as a natural exfoliator, coffee removes dry and dead skin cells and gives a glowing skin. Plus, it smells amazing.

Now we will explain how our favorite morning drink can provide us a skin benefits. All we need is coffee, brown sugar, honey and olive, coconut or any other oil for face scrub and coffee, cocoa powder, milk, heavy cream, or yogurt and honey for face mask.

Coffee as Face Scrub

Coffee is a good exfoliator, it will shed the dead skin while renewing the production of new skin cells and giving a glowing effect on the skin. Also, as a great antioxidant, coffee will protect the skin from acne and breakouts too.

Mix coffee beans, brown sugar and olive oil (or other oil) in a bowl and add honey as well. Stir well. Take the coffee scrub and apply it all over your face and neck. Massage gently in a circular motion for a couple of minutes and rinse it off with warm water.

Coffee as Face Mask

As a face mask, coffee will rejuvenate and keep your skin glowing. It’s full of antioxidants, which will eliminate toxins from the skin.

Mix coffee, cocoa powder, milk, heavy cream, or yogurt and honey. Stir well. Take the coffee mask and apply a light coat on the face. Let sit for couple of minutes. Remove with warm wash cloth.
