Putting your hands all over your face is bad for your skin (hands are dirty, right?). But, if you do it in the form of a facial massage that's another story. Facial massage reduces excess fluid, relieves tension, and boosts circulation, lowers stress levels and keeps acne-causing hormones in check.
We are willing to show you a quick five-minute face massage that will help you get rid of acne and breakouts and give you a rejuvenated and glowing skin. All you need is: clean fingers and a facial oil or serum.
Here are the 4 easy steps for clean and clear face:
Step one: Pinch the skin along the jawline.
Begin from the center of the chin and then go below the ears with your index fingers and thumbs. This is good for any congestion in the skin tissue that may be causing swelling and puffiness.
Step two: Push up under the cheekbones
Push up under the cheekbones from the center of the face out toward the temples using the index and middle fingers. Then continue with the pinching, but now pinch the fleshy part of the cheeks to increase circulation for an instant glow.
Step three: Press and lift
With the ring fingers press and lift along the brow bone slowly beginning from the inner to outer corners of the eyes. Then do the same under the eyes. This technique gently pumps out lymphatic fluids to deflate puffiness and lessen dark circles.
Step four: Soften and minimize fine lines
Place the thumbs at the temples and draw small circles from the center of the forehead out to the sides of the face by using the three middle fingers. This motion will reduce the tension in the face and minimize the lines from facial movements.
After this facial massage not only, you’ll have soft and clean face, but you’ll also feel happy and relaxed. So, go ahead and try it!
