Believe it or not, on the list of the best ingredients for making our skin glow are the vegetables. Their properties can keep our skin moisturized and hydrated. They can also help in rejuvenating and lightening our skin tone. Vegetables are one of the food groups that can most conveniently be treated and used as a beauty product. So, then why not try some of them and see what they can do for our skin?

Here are some homemade vegetable face packs that can help us in achieving natural skin glow:

Carrot And Potato Face Pack

  • Mix 1 boiled carrot with 1 boiled potato and few boiled leafs of cabbage. Add a tsp. of milk until smooth paste. Apply on face and neck while rubbing carefully with circular motions. Rinse off with cold water.

 

Radish And Carrot Face Pack

  • Mix 1 tsp. of radish juice, 1 tsp. of carrot juice, 1 egg white and 1 tsp. of wheat flour. Apply on face and neck and leave for about 15 minutes. Rinse off with cold water.

 

Tomato Face Pack

  • Mix 1 tomato with 1 tbsp. of lemon juice. Apply on face and neck and leave for about 15 minutes. Rinse off with cold water. Tomatoes have anti-oxidant properties that can repair the damaged skin cells.

Potato Face Pack

  • Mix 1 grated potato with a little cold milk. Gently massage the face. Leave for about 15 minutes. Rinse off with cold water. This face pack is great for dry skin.

 

Cucumber Face Pack

  • Mix 1 grated cucumber with 2 tbsps. of yoghurt, 1 tsp. of honey, a little lemon juice and 3 capsules of vitamin E. Apply on face and neck for about 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. This is one of the best anti-aging face pack.

 

Beet Root Face Pack

  • Mix 1 peeled and grated beetroot with 2 tbsps. of sour cream or yoghurt. Apply on face and neck and leave for about 15 minutes. Rinse off with cold water. This is highly effective for improving the skin complexion.
